Hi! I am Kate. I am a high school student from Rhode Island. In my free time, I love to paint, read, and play sports.

My name is Kate Goldfarb and I am the Chief Outreach Officer of Simple Studies! I am a junior from Virginia, and in my free time I like to hang out with friends, play with my dogs, and read!

I'm currently a sophomore at Deerfield Academy. Besides experience in English and History writing courses, I've participated in Model United Nations and Debate, earning awards in position paper writing and accumulating titles of "best delegate". I attended a business communications camp at Dartmouth that had a focus on writing and speech skills. This year I will also be taking AP seminar.

I’m a very self motivated person that loves to be a part of many things. After working with simple studies before I want to be apart of it again but in a bigger way! I think being a representative would be the perfect way to do so!!

Throughout my years in school, I have been president, vice president, treasurer, secretary, and historian of many different clubs. Beyond school positions, I am also an ambassador for an organization that offers free tutoring to elementary school kids.

I have served as PR for multiple clubs in the past and provide consultations to small business to improve their marketing. I joined Simple Studies because I like that is a bunch of teens helping each other. it takes away some of the stress that makes school so hard, it’s easier to ask for help among peers rather than asking an adult. I also appreciate that the people giving advice personally relate to the problems and are able to really provide valuable insight and advice.

I’ve had previous work experience with the program “Momentoring Mentors” which allowed me to step out of my comfort zone and teach moral lessons to a third grader for 10 days.

I was a Founding Member at Peace Club, Vice President at JCI and also part of the TechGirls initiative, where we learned a lot about leadership. In the JCI, my responsibilities as vice president are mainly external relations and planning the yearly program.

I like grammar and to help people to use the correct ways to speak or write it. Simple Studies is such a helpful resource and I'm happy to be a part of it.
